for anyone that didn't see the updated note on the 2009 tour dates thread
When I die I won't own crap, but my kids will have a hell of a music collection to fight over

I could probably go if I wanted to 'cuz it's only six hours away (I don't consider six hours very far), but if I'm gonna travel to an SA show I figure might as well hold out for First Avenue the next time they play there.

I know, but it's just that they're gonna be with three other bands I've never even heard of and I don't wanna drive six hours just to sit through them and then SA not even play for that long. I'm sure it'll be a great show, but I just don't think it's worth driving six hours for.

Im sure SA will get a soild 60-75 minutes as the headliner.

Seriously, you never heard of Days of the New, 7 Mary Three, and Sponge?

They all had big hits in the mid 90s

Cumbersome.......<shiver>

I plan on being there--only my SECOND SA show--crazy. Prolly go the Craigslist route and get as close as possible.

Don't forget Over your shoulder. Hah! Haven't heard anyone anywhere mention Days of the New til now...and suddenly started humming Touch Peel Stand. :P

As for Sponge, it's been completely wiped from my mind. Not even Molly (Sixteen Candles Down the Drain) brings anything back....meh. :P

So frustrated. Get up anyway.
So complicated. Changes every day.

So the darkness fades
And the light, will come shining through.

That I recall Sponge only had the one hit, Plowed.

My wife and I were just thinking, we've never seen them headline here.
We've seen them with Matchbox 20, the Gin Blossoms and once with the Jayhawks.
