That's so awesome that Soul Asylum is finally appearing to make an effort to give some fan feedback directly to us via the internet. I look forward to seeing the submission from each member of the band.

Kudos (and MUCH thanks and sincere appreciation) to whoever came up with the idea to post each band member's "top 4" with accompanying commentary. Benny? Or, perhaps the new management?

Thanks!!!!

That's great! I'll put up a blurb about it on the front page ASAP.

I'm so happy that Michael Bland chose New World because that's one of my absolute favorites as well.

I also checked out the new management's website. It's well-designed both visually and technically, so hopefully we'll see a new Soul Asylum site with the same quality before the new album comes out. However, the name "Red Light" makes me kind of concerned as to what they're actually managing. ;)

Whoa! Check out the MySpace again! If that's a taste of what their new web presence will be like, I can't wait!

Aaaaaah Black Gold....great to know I'm not the only one who loves that song. :P

Great selections by Dave; cool to see that Stand Up & Be Strong made his list.

From the article:

"We had done some U.S.O. shows in Korea a few years back, and they really helped me to see troops on a more compassionate level".

Wow, very cool; am I the only one who was completely unaware that they performed in Korea?

I had no idea either but that's cool if they did that for the U.S.O. I guess they didn't advertise that.

I love it that Dave picked "Artificial Heart." And I'd love to see them slip in a crazy, experimental track like that on the new album.

It's a shame Dave believes he can no longer see a project like that realized.
