Anyone have a link or more info on this? I've really been wanting to get the family to NO, and maybe this would work if it's kid friendly and a weekend?

It is on a weekend and it's very family oriented. Here's a link.

In addition to Soul Asylum there's some seriously not to be missed local music, not the least of which is the New Orleans Bingo!! Show. They're like nothing you've ever seen or will ever see again ;) They're not for children, though. They're sort of music with naked people, whips and bingo.

And the Wild Magnolias Mardi Gras Indians...

This is gonna be a good good good time.

article/dave interview about upcoming Gretna show

Post by philipgar »

Just read this article at http://www.nola.com/rose/index.ssf/2009 ... set_t.html with an interview by dave... Kind of neat to read, nothing we didn't really know though.

Nice find, but they seem to have their facts wrong: Soul Asylum made two albums in the last 12 years, and The Silver Lining was released in 2006. We need to start sending out press kits!
