On this day (November 13th) in 1981 they played their first show ever at the 7th Street Entry. Thanks for 30 years of great music, guys!

Ah, I knew the 30th anniversary was around this time. I went to the 20th Anniversary show 10 years ago and that was a fun time. However, I didn't know the exact anniversary date. Thanks for sharing.

Happy anniversary guys! Thanks for all the awesome and hard work you have done during the past 30 years. Most other bands starting out from the 80's definitely haven't lasted nowhere near as long; that's definitely a huge achievement in itself. :)

You definitely have made a lot of old and new fans happy out there! :D

May sound cliche, but the world is a better place with Soul Asylum in it! The brilliance of every song lyric and the way you make your fans feel like you're long lost friends speaks volumes! What an achievement! Here's to many more years, many more songs, many more shows! You guys are awesome.

30 years is amazing!! It proves the passion they have for what they do. Like true artists, they do it for themselves and if money follows, great. It's like they've had 3 careers in one. 1981-1992 (the one the general public still doesn't know about), 1992-1996 (their moment in the sun), 1996-present (still doing great music when many pepole think they only have 2 records). What a shame. I know all y'all know better and that's why you're here. Cheers to the band that changed my life. Thanks guys!!!!
