It has been mentioned on Facebook. Michael Bland and John Fields often post at the Soul Asylum fan page and they too mentioned hearing some songs and that it sounds good, I believe.

Yeah, I like those 'new' songs too. I wouldn't mind hearing them getting a little bit more folky again on a new album... I'm really into Wilco lately, and I kinda missed the more folky songs on the last two albums.
