Hey Pat,

It was a whole CD, "Jimmy Page and the Black Crowes: Live at the Greek"
they did a whole album cover (awesome job, too!). We are big fans, too.

Peace,
Carol

Oh boy, Sheryl, we have much in common... I would like to see them in it, and I do think they had a good run in the limelight...my issue is, what the heck does it take to get them noticed again? Don't shoot me for the reference, but Duran Duran had a brief second coming, as did Van Halen, and Led Ze...

I had to pick RT because of the kids I work with. Some do run, some are neglected and abused, most have secrets and issues, all have damage of some kind. I love several of the other songs, including Black Gold and Somebody to Shove, but RT still makes me cry.

Peace,
Carol

So sorry! My mom is from Iowa, she grew up around Des Moines and Sioux City. I went to UF, and had JUST TRANSFERRED when they had a rash of murders on campus (ever hear of Danny Rawlings?). Anyway, I remember crossing the campus on foot, many times, alone in the dark despite the availability (suppos...

Peace,
Carol

I have to defend "Stand Up and be Strong" as well (but no, I don't think anyone should be accused of heresy for their opinion). It is what I call "radio friendly" which should not condemn it, although I do agree it stands a bit apart from what most fans expect from Dave & co, lyrically. Of course ev...

The show I attended last October was free, so yes, they had to have been paid a flat fee. After the show, I started looking for TSL in music stores, big chain department stores, etc. and had no luck until my husband suggested Best Buy (they had two copies). Yes, you can purchase it on the internet, ...

Ok, I posted my opinion earlier on this, but not specifically on that piece of lyric. If I had to stretch...meaning guess (hopefully) intelligently...Dave might be referring to the large numbers of African Americans that volunteered for the armed forces (in order to either pay for college or get a c...

In four more years? Hmmm, having a Master's Degree and a new position in my company...in another state. My boys living independently with newly acquired Bachelor's Degrees in Graphic Design. (OK, the older one wants a degree in Sound Engineering, but I can dream!). Oh yeah, and living in a house wit...
