I could hear that arch tone just fine.:) If I'd been in any doubt, that "he doesn't look like the kind of boy ..." would have tipped me off. He has always looked exactly like "that kind of boy." In Laurie Lindeen's memoir, she mentions Dave a few times. The first thing she writes about him is "Dave, a cute blond stoner, is in the band Soul Asylum." 'Nuff said.
