Delayed Reaction favorite song
With the forum being kind of quiet lately I figured I'd do something a little different and start a poll.
Since Delayed Reaction has been out for over 2 months now and it's probably enough time to make a final choices, I think it'd be fun to see everyone's decisions (and if they have changed within the past 2 months).
I'm going to put up the Best Buy bonus tracks as well should you want to vote for them. If you haven't heard them feel free to download them here.

It was a close call between 2 but I voted for Take Manhattan. It's definitely catchy and I like how the song seems all "happy/uptempo" (and you feel happy for the couple). Then the tempo of the song changes because of the "argument" that occurred. Maybe I like a lot more because of the story too.
It was hard to choose but it was going up against. I Should Have Stayed In Bed. Even though it ain't a "new" song I've really liked it since I heard the Palais Royale version on the Candy From a Stranger bonus disc many moons ago. I know it's kind of a "downer" song, very different from most of their material, but I like it. The only reason that kept me from putting it on the number one spot is the 30 second long intro, easily 20 seconds too long in my opinion (I did make an edit of it with that much cut off). Seeing it accompanied with the video makes the song more awesome). I also read because of that video it's the reason why they decided to record it and put it on the album.
Gravity rounds out the top 3 (although I think I listen to that one the most).

When I opened the thread I thought I knew which song I'd choose, but when it came time to click the radio button, I couldn't commit! That is, I think, the mark of a good-to-great collection of songs.
I'll be back after I give it a think....

Gravity.
Really, there's only three songs on here that count for me, and it's the first three. They're all solid but Gravity is the best of the bunch. I still don't count By The Way/Stayed In Bed/Cruel Intentions as "new songs " or "album songs." Though if you asked me a year ago to make a one-CD mix of favorite SA songs. By The Way probably would have been on there. Most of the other new tunes don't do much for me, but Pipe Dream has started creeping into my (un)consciousness after the shows last month.
Honestly, I was a little more excited by the new cover songs on this tour. I can't get Teenage Kicks or Shakin' Street outta my head, both the originals and the covers!

After eeny-meeny-miney-moing it, I've decided "The Streets" is probably my favorite, though not by much.
Yaz: I know what you mean about the new tour covers! I've no idea if they've covered "Attacking the Beat" on other tours, but it's an awesome choice; I like their version more than the original, tell the truth.

I love Shakin' Street; way too catchy. I wonder if if it got a studio recording. If so I'd think it'd get some heavy rotation on my mp3 player.Yaz McBoo wrote: Honestly, I was a little more excited by the new cover songs on this tour. I voted for The Streets, but it was a hard choice. My black sense of humor loves Let's All Kill Each Other. I'm also a big fan of Take Manhattan and Into the Light.
Pipe Dream was one of my least favorite songs on the album, but that seems to be doing well in the early voting.

Hard to pick just one as I am very happy with the record overall. I voted for "Time Will Tell" as it is probably the one I listen to the most, but that does not mean I hold the other songs in low esteem. "Into The Light" is probably my next favorite and I also have found "Pipe Dream" "sneaking up on me". Didn't really grab my attention at first but after a few live shows, I've found myself seeing it's genius. : )
