Lyrics
The Lord of the Savages made himself a pact
He was always right and no one could talk back
Made up all the rules, wrote 'em down on paper
Formed himself an army to make all the people safer
But the people could not read the rules cause nobody could read
The people wanted pleasure, so all they did was breed
People just want to be good, all the savages need food
And a roof over their head, they get confusion instead
And when savages get bored, they get tired of waiting for the Lord
The Lord of the Savages built himself a castle
Looked out of the window, wondered what was all the hassle
Everyone's complainin', today I'm feeling fine
I'll make everything finer, I'll give all the people wine
And the people they got drunk, and the problem with the drink
They make some people violent, makes other people think
And the savages divided, one thing had been decided
Things were not quite fair, left to wallow in dispair
And when people they get bored, they get tired of waiting for the Lord
The Lord of the Savages said there should be peace
Couldn't control the people, so he brought in the police
This is all they needed, someone else to hate 'em
They burned the castle down, and they called The Lord a traitor
Fixin' Molotov cocktails and burnin' down the street
Running screaming everywhere, chasing out the heat
They were singin' in the attic, outside the sideshow
Swimming in the static on my radio
They were kickin' down the doors, rippin' out the floors
Blood was drippin' from their pores, like a tinderbox on fire
One day he would stand trial, he's The Lord of Denial
When denial shuts it's door, it gets tired of waiting for the Lord
